Hotels, Airbnbs, Ubers, Road Trips, and Dog Parks: How to Travel With Your Dog Without the Mess Anxiety

Traveling with your dog should be fun. And mostly, it is.

But there's always that low-grade anxiety humming in the background. The "what if they have an accident in the Uber." The Airbnb host's pristine white couch. The dog who jumps on the hotel bed before you can stop them. The triumphant, soaking wet shake-off in the back seat after a beach day.

Here's how to travel with your dog from the moment you leave home to the moment you get back.
