Wash & Care

Before washing, make sure any solid matter is removed from your product. For items with heavy soiling that may stain or develop odors, rinse under cold running water until the water runs clear before storing for wash day.
For a deep clean, start with a pre-wash on a short cycle using warm water (up to 140°F / 60°C) and the recommended amount of detergent, such as Tide Original to Line 1. Follow with a heavy-duty, longest-cycle wash in warm or cold water, again using the appropriate detergent amount. To ensure proper agitation, add other items to create a full load.
For everyday or lighter messes or items already pre-rinsed, a regular cycle in cold or warm water (up to 140°F / 60°C) with the normal amount of detergent is sufficient.
Whenever possible, hang to dry. If you’re in a rush, you can tumble dry on low.

What are they made of?

Our Boofas are made of the softest bamboo terry that just continues to get softer and softer as they're used and washed. It's like bathing with clouds and soft baby kittens. Seriously.

What's the difference between Boofas and Wipes?

While they can be used for the same things (namely, wiping yours and your littles butts), the biggest difference between the 3 types of wipes we carry is the material.

Boofas are the softest and most luxurious cloth that we carry. The fibers are super soft and delicate - so much so we recommend washing them in a mesh laundry bag to stop them from snagging on anything in the wash.

Our Bamboo Wipes have two layers - a top layer of a blend of 80% cotton bamboo and 20% polyester and a super soft bottom layer of micro fleece. They are soft, but more durable than Boofas. Our T-shirt wipes are our option for folks looking for the most ecofriendly and affordable option. They are made of repurposed leftover T-Shirt material (usually cotton) right here in Canada. The fabric we use to make T-Shirt wipes would otherwise go to waste. They are less kitten soft than Boofas or Bamboo Wipes, but the uses for these are endless as well.

So soft! Perfect for bath time

Right out of the box I knew this company was the real deal! The packaging is incredible and you can tell it is all handled with care. These cloths are SO incredibly soft! They have been amazing for bath time and for wiping snotty noses this cold and flu season. The only thing I would change is sewing in a small loop of fabric to hang them, but this is absolutely not a deal breaker. I am a Lil Helper fan for life!

Wonderful but don’t hold up over time

I purchased these about a month or 2 before our first child was born. They are extremely soft and multiple times I have thought to buy more if only they weren’t out of stock! My favorite washcloths ever—I’ve used them for both my daughter’s and my faces. I have about a dozen other soft cotton and bamboo wash cloths in our “baby wash cloth” stack, plus another dozen regular cotton ones for general guest-use so I’d say they got a regular amount of use with good rotation. They recommend to wash in a delicates bag, which I always have. Bamboo is delicate afterall, and I’m willing to sort through my laundry carefully. Before year was up, however, they started getting little loops and fraying. Now my daughter is 14mo and each cloth has multiple snags and holes in them. I at least got a good year out of them, which I’m sure mine have lasted longer than some others because I tried to be super careful with the laundering and care. And to be fair, my husband has used these for my daughter’s bath and she loves sucking water from washcloths so maybe some minor teething has contributed to the snagging. But seeing other reviews had this same issue, it’s likely not an isolated incident.
I would still recommend these since they are the nicest washcloths I’ve ever had! But just be aware that a cost of their extreme softness is that they aren’t very sturdy or long-lasting. Make sure to wash them delicately. I’d still say it’s worth it to purchase more to replace my current when they get to be too raggedy

THE SOFTEST WASH CLOTHS IVE EVER HAD! Use for my face or just for a baby’s body. Wonderful. One thing is that they stain and you can’t get the stains out. Unfortunately.
