  1. Pre-wash: Wash in warm water with the recommended amount of detergent to remove most of the pee.
  2. Turn inside out (optional): For best results, unsnap the waist snaps or turn the undies inside out.
  3. Avoid certain soaps: Do not use castile or coconut-based soaps or detergents with fabric softener.
  4. Wash with regular laundry: For small accidents, you can toss the undies in with your regular laundry.
  5. Use the right detergent: Use a commercially available detergent, but skip the fabric softener, dryer sheets, and avoid hot water to prevent damage to the PUL.
  6. Dry properly: Line dry or hang to dry for best results. If you need to use a dryer, tumble dry on low heat for a maximum of 10 minutes.

Absorbs Accidents

Absorbs Accidents

Designed using a dark-colored, absorbent, minky material and an added hidden layer of microfiber, these undies will help absorb those little accidents while making your baby still feel wet. Unlike a diaper, these are not designed to hold a full pee. But they will still keep your little one’s pants dry if they don’t quite make it to the toilet in time.

Newbie Guide

Most users report that 4-6 Zero-A Trainers are the sweet spot for their potty training needs. That said, the exact number can vary depending on your child’s readiness, your potty training method, and other factors. Like most reusable products (and, let’s be real, most parenting choices), we recommend starting with 1 or 2 to see how they work for you and where your kiddo is on their potty training journey before committing to a full stash.

We recommend unsnapping the waist snaps or turning the undies inside out. For small accidents, you can toss them in with your regular laundry! Use a commercially available detergent, but skip the fabric softener and dryer sheets, and avoid hot water—it can damage the PUL. To dry, simply hang them up and let them air dry.

Yes and no! Zero-A undies are great for potty training because they’re easy for kids to pull up and down on their own. They’re absorbent enough to prevent wet pants during small accidents, but they’re not designed to hold a full pee. This helps your child learn to recognize wetness, which actually speeds up potty training compared to disposable pull-ups. Find out more about why we designed them this way here.

Maximum hip circumference: 22 inches (56 cm). Using both waist and rise snaps, they are completely adjustable to fit toddlers from 20-45 lbs (9-20 kg).

Our Zero-A Trainers are made of 4 main components: a stretchy cotton band for the best fit on your growing toddler, waterproof PUL to block leaks, a dark-colored absorbent minky that hides stains and helps your child feel when an accident is starting, and a layer of absorbent microfiber to protect your sofa/car seat as your little one learns.

Our Zero-A undies are not meant for overnight use unless your child only has occasional dribbles during the night. If your little one is still having full pees throughout the night, these won’t contain those floods! You might be able to add a booster if you're feeling creative, but this isn't their intended purpose. Find out why we designed them this way in this video.

Great for extra safety

Our kid is diaper free during the day, but we wanted a little extra safety for longer car-rides, and eventually night time. It's easy to adjust the pants, and to pull them down when needed, and they aren't more visible than a regular diaper.
No complaints about them from the kid, they enjoyed the pretty patterns (Thanks Uncle Mo <'3)
If I could add anything, then it would be the ability to change the lining like some cloth diapers offer, or an extra insert. As we aren't using them full-time, it seems a bit like a waste to wash them after perhaps a car-ride, but it also doesn't feel sanitary to use them again the next day for example. I had some fleece liners from our cloth diapers, that I adjusted in size and added one time, to test it out. It worked ok, but didn't really seem like a permanent solution.
Either way, we're happy with the product, and it matched my expectations from reading the product description.
Keep up the good work, and keep making life a little easier for all kinds of people.

I was skeptical! How can they keep liquid in while not absorbing it?? Well they found a way!! The lining is so soft, and the buttons are great for adjusting to the perfect size. I only wish they made a bigger size as well, my son is in the 86th percentile so he's a big boy 💕

Hey there Kathryn! Sending you many thanks for sharing your experience with our Potty Training Pants! They really are worth the hype- we are overjoyed to read that you and your little one are enjoying how soft they are while keeping all liquid in. We hear your suggestion about having a larger size and will definitely pass this along to our production team! Thank you again for sharing your feedback!! Have a wonderful day! - Amanda @ Lil Helper

We’re still in an adjustment period with these. But I took a stars for 2 reasons: 1) Lots of fuzz inside stuck to my little one’s skin. It’s better after washing, but not fully resolved. 2) the elastic is strong and they are difficult for my 2yo to remove and trust me, he knows how to remove his clothing. I’m hoping these help, but my kid is just using them like diapers. He does great with nothing on, but we can’t live naked in the snow.

Hi Katherine! Thank you for taking the time to share your experience with our Reusable Trainers. We take all of our customer feedback to heart to improve future versions of our products. Our Delight Team may be able to help with the fit and wash routine if you are looking for any guidance! :) We hope you have a wonderful day! - Amanda @ Lil Helper

A+ for these trainers

We are just taking our first steps into potty training. I love having a reusable option to pull ups. Multiple sizing options in one piece and super soft. My little guy loves his underwear.

Hey Adrienne! Many thanks for trying out our Zero-A Training Pants and for this stellar review. We love that the Zero-A Training Pants actually help your little guy to feel the wetness that can happen during potty training as opposed to a pull up that just contains it. Thank you for making the switch from disposable to reusable pull ups! We hope that this season of potty training goes as smoothly as possible for you! - Amanda @ Lil Helper

Definitely great product

They hold liquid really well my only issue is they are a little on the small side. My son potty trained a little later then normal around 3 and we bought these for outside ventures. He's on the smaller side at almost 4 ( 39ish inches 33 pounds). He has a small waist also. As a cpst I actually love to see something like this to help prevent accidents in carseats. It definitely is a great use to make kiddos safer as it's clothing and not an after market product being added. So kudos on making a great item!

Hey Jae! Many thanks for your thoughtful review for our Zero-A Training Pants. We're jazzed to hear that they're holding liquid well and serving their purpose for your son's potty training journey. We appreciate your feedback about the sizing and will definitely take that into consideration for future improvements. Thank you for your work as a CPST; car seat safety is so very important and we appreciate knowing that our Zero-A Training Pants can be useful for car seat safety. Thank you for choosing our Zero-A's for your little one! - Amanda @ Lil Helper
