Wash & Care

Washing & Drying Instructions:

-Machine wash in cold or warm water (up to 140°F / 60°C).

-Avoid bleach, fabric softeners, or detergents with enzymes, as they can damage the materials.

-Use a high-quality, commercially available detergent—we recommend Tide Original

-Hang dry your Lifesaver Mat when possible to help maintain its shape and extend its lifespan.

-If using a dryer, tumble dry on medium or low heat. Avoid high heat or over-drying.

Which side of the Lifesaver Lush should be facing up?

With our new Lifesaver Lush, the printed side is the one you lay on—printed side up! When you hold the mat, it’s easy to tell: the printed side is a beautiful, soft, stay-dry minky material, while the solid side is the PUL waterproof fabric we use in many of our products.

How do you wash & dry Lifesaver Mats?

We recommend a heavy-duty warm cycle with recommended commercially available detergent. Line dry when you can, but if you must, tumble dry low! Avoid any fabric softeners or dryer sheets to protect your mat’s absorbency.

What are they made of?

Each Lifesaver Mat is made of 3 layers: waterproof PUL, absorbent microfibre, and a top layer of stay dry charcoal. Get all the details here.

What are Lifesaver Mats used for?

This is the mat with a thousand uses. Waterproof PUL on one side, absorbent, soft, stay dry and stain resistant charcoal on the other, we are so proud of this product. How much can Lifesaver Mats absorb?

That’s a great question! Unfortunately it is a little tricky to answer. If you evenly and steadily distributed water across the entire mat, we could probably give you an amount, but that’s not really how most humans leak and therefore not how the mats get used. We do have this handy video to show you how our Lifesaver Mats absorb. This should give you an idea of how it works and if it will be a good fit for the mess you have in mind!

Quality!!

I have always wanted one of these mats and I ordered two with the bundle deal and ohhhh my goodness they are such great quality and the print is just beautiful!!! I also ordered a sample cloth diaper and I love the God Forbid refund policy, as I had worry/anxiety with my pregnancy but wanted to be prepared. Thankfully I now have a beautiful baby girl and I love changing her on these mats! One for the bedroom and one for the living room has saved us many times already. I’m looking forward to using it when my period returns as well since I have constant worry about leaking and other waterproof mats are hot and noisy. These are comfy and can be used for so many different purposes.

So excited!

I ordered the lifesaver xl as a prrsent for my husband. It finally arrived today after its tour of The Netherlands (so annoyed that we all have to do stuff like this) and I LOVE it. The Oh Canada red is lovely and it’s soft and quiet and BIG! Keep Your Bed Pristine

There are times in a woman's life when keeping the bed from being stained is so hard. The Lifesaver Waterproof Mat Original does a wonderful job of preventing anything from coming in contact with the sheet or mattress. No more scrubbing sheets or surprise stains in the mattress. Just the right size for smaller jobs

The Lifesaver Waterproof Mat Mini is just perfect for smaller things that you want to make sure stay dry. I use it to keep my bed from getting wet from my water bottle or an ice pack. I also use it if I am going to eat something in bed to keep my bed clean. There are lots of uses and the fact that you can put it in the washing machine is awesome!
