Absorbs Accidents

Absorbs Accidents

Designed using a dark-colored, absorbent, minky material and an added hidden layer of microfiber, these undies will help absorb those little accidents while making your baby still feel wet. Unlike a diaper, these are not designed to hold a full pee. But they will still keep your little one’s pants dry if they don’t quite make it to the toilet in time.

Grows Just as Fast as Your Littles

Here at Lil Helper, we are nothing if not overachievers. So to really take the Zero-A Undies to the level of “over-the-top awesome,” we added a layer of waterproof PUL. This way, even small accidents will never be accidents.

Comfy for your little one. But not too comfy.

Accident-Containing Training Pants for Toddlers

Comfy for your little one. But not too comfy.

These trainers are designed like underwear for independent use by your growing child. Our Zero-A training underwear stretches in all the right places. This makes them easy for your little one to pull up and down, while still containing any mess. Plus, the absorbent minky inner means the accident will be contained, but your tiny human will feel wet and learn the steps of the bathroom boogie a little quicker.

With great power, comes great potential for mess.

Easy Cleanup When 💩 Happens

With great power, comes great potential for mess.

With most other trainers, if a #2 accident occurs, you have to pull them down. This inevitably leads to a lot of smearing and turns a two-minute clean-up with reusable wipes into a full-blown bathtub operation. Our adjustable hip snaps mean you can open the potty training pants up, remove them like a reusable diaper, and save yourself some time and under-your-breath curse words.

Making a tough transition a little more intuitive.

Designed to be Different Than Diapers

Making a tough transition a little more intuitive.

These trainers are not diapers. These are a transition tool designed to handle slip-ups, minimize mess, but still train towards the goal of Zero A. So, they don’t pack enough punch to hold a whole pee because, once your child realizes they can go to town in their trainers, they will.

Nor are they the same as disposable trainers. Disposable trainers or Pull-ups allow your child to still use them as diapers, as their goal is for you to buy them as long as possible.

We want you to use these training pants for as little time as possible so your child becomes independent faster with as few frustration-induced tears (from you or your little) as possible.

Yes and no! This great underwear is perfect for potty training kiddos to pull up and down on their own. They also have the option to unsnap at the sides for easy clean-ups when needed. However, they are not meant to hold full-blown pees. They are absorbent enough to avoid wet pants when our little ones have small accidents, but they are not made to hold a full pee.

Using both waist and rise snaps, they are completely adjustable from 20-40lbs.

Our Zero-A training pants are not meant for overnight use, unless your little one only has an occasional dribble in the night. If your kiddos are still having full pees throughout the night, these will not contain those floods! You may be able to add a booster if you are feeling creative; however, this is not their intended purpose!

Incredibly absorbent and daughter literally doesn't want to stop wearing them!

When potty training my daughter I wanted to completely switch to underwear so she would still feel wet, but I also wanted something absorbent enough that I wasn't giving her daycare teachers a whole complicated clean up situation. I did some research and found these. I purchased 9 of them because we don't have laundry in our house and I wanted to leave space for accidents while not having to run to the laundromat every other day. The price for 9 was....a lot (thankfully bundling helped with $). I felt a bit insane dropping that much on these, especially not knowing whether I'd like them enough. But I do not regret my purchase AT ALL. These are insanely absorbent, while also still somehow leaving her feeling "wet" enough to pick up on potty training cues. Whenever my daughter would have a pee accident overnight it would wake her up enough to call for us, but it absorbed well enough that her sheets her dry! Her PJ pants were honestly only a little damp. If I didn't know she had peed I would have assumed it was sweat-- that's how little liquid made it out of the training pants! When she would have accidents at school she wouldn't get any pee on her socks! Which, if you have potty trained a kid you know is kind of a bit deal.

They're also incredibly easy to rinse out and pre-clean while they waited for us to get to the laundromat. I thought the fleecey lining would be tough for poop accidents but it literally slid right off, or rinsed off easily under running water.

And since we went fully diaperless for potty training, these bad boys experienced A LOT of accidents. And therefore A LOT of rinsing, soaking, and washing. And they are still soft, barely faded, and holding up super well. I can definitely keep these for a future kid without worrying they're too worn or stained or dirty.

We are done with potty training now, but what compelled me to come back to write this review is that my daughter refuses to stop wearing them because they're so comfy! For a while, we've only been putting them on her at night, because she's been accident free during the day. She's been accident free at night for a while now, too, and she's honestly starting to outgrow them, but she has resisted our suggestions to wear regular underwear to sleep because they're so comfy! Which, I can totally understand. The fleece lining seems so snug and cozy! So, I suppose we will keep wearing them until they are too small, and then we will have to comfort her through the disappointment of having to store them away. Maybe comfy kids underwear that are thinner but with the fleecy lining might be in the works one day? Hehe!

Hey there, Alex!! Wow, wow, wow. Your kind words have us all gathered around the computer here at Lil Helper. It touches our hearts to know the impact that your Potty Training Pants have made for you and your daughter. The absorbency is like the Goldilocks of Pull Ups, right? The feeling is not so wet that there are any leaks but just wet enough to follow the cue to go to the toilet. We will pass your suggestion for kids underwear along to our production team- maybe this could be a future product! Thank you again so very much for sharing your experience. We wish you and your daughter the best! - Amanda @ Lil Helper

Great for extra safety

Our kid is diaper free during the day, but we wanted a little extra safety for longer car-rides, and eventually night time. It's easy to adjust the pants, and to pull them down when needed, and they aren't more visible than a regular diaper.
No complaints about them from the kid, they enjoyed the pretty patterns (Thanks Uncle Mo <'3)
If I could add anything, then it would be the ability to change the lining like some cloth diapers offer, or an extra insert. As we aren't using them full-time, it seems a bit like a waste to wash them after perhaps a car-ride, but it also doesn't feel sanitary to use them again the next day for example. I had some fleece liners from our cloth diapers, that I adjusted in size and added one time, to test it out. It worked ok, but didn't really seem like a permanent solution.
Either way, we're happy with the product, and it matched my expectations from reading the product description.
Keep up the good work, and keep making life a little easier for all kinds of people.

I was skeptical! How can they keep liquid in while not absorbing it?? Well they found a way!! The lining is so soft, and the buttons are great for adjusting to the perfect size. I only wish they made a bigger size as well, my son is in the 86th percentile so he's a big boy 💕

Hey there Kathryn! Sending you many thanks for sharing your experience with our Potty Training Pants! They really are worth the hype- we are overjoyed to read that you and your little one are enjoying how soft they are while keeping all liquid in. We hear your suggestion about having a larger size and will definitely pass this along to our production team! Thank you again for sharing your feedback!! Have a wonderful day! - Amanda @ Lil Helper

We’re still in an adjustment period with these. But I took a stars for 2 reasons: 1) Lots of fuzz inside stuck to my little one’s skin. It’s better after washing, but not fully resolved. 2) the elastic is strong and they are difficult for my 2yo to remove and trust me, he knows how to remove his clothing. I’m hoping these help, but my kid is just using them like diapers. He does great with nothing on, but we can’t live naked in the snow.

Hi Katherine! Thank you for taking the time to share your experience with our Reusable Trainers. We take all of our customer feedback to heart to improve future versions of our products. Our Delight Team may be able to help with the fit and wash routine if you are looking for any guidance! :) We hope you have a wonderful day! - Amanda @ Lil Helper

A+ for these trainers

We are just taking our first steps into potty training. I love having a reusable option to pull ups. Multiple sizing options in one piece and super soft. My little guy loves his underwear.

Hey Adrienne! Many thanks for trying out our Zero-A Training Pants and for this stellar review. We love that the Zero-A Training Pants actually help your little guy to feel the wetness that can happen during potty training as opposed to a pull up that just contains it. Thank you for making the switch from disposable to reusable pull ups! We hope that this season of potty training goes as smoothly as possible for you! - Amanda @ Lil Helper
